It's every bit true but hard to see that our bodies are made from the nutrients we extract from foods. The nutritional content of what we eat determines the composition of our cell membranes, bone marrow & blood and has influence on powerful hormones & enzymes we need to survive, grow and perform optimally.
Our bodies are literally manufactured out of the food we consume. Once you believe the statement “you are what you eat”, it makes you think twice about what you feed your body every day.
